Greater Latrobe Drama Club Presents
A Virtual Stage Play
“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps fences, leaps hurdles, penetrates walls to arrive at its final destination full of hope.”
- Maya Angelou
About The Play
Whether it be physical walls, mental obstacles, or the very guidelines meant to protect us, this pandemic has created barriers that seems to impede the soul’s desire to create, to connect, to control. Love…No Barriers is a virtual stage play, consisting of eleven scenes, that examines how we deal with the loss and isolation caused by those barriers. We grieve, we persist, we laugh, we love and we hope. Love recognizes no barriers.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL STAGE PLAY
Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, a typical play wasn’t a possibility this year. So, the Greater Latrobe Drama Club decided to do something different. Director Alli Duda enlisted the help of seasoned local writers to develop and write a completely original show.
Love…No Barriers is a stage play but was filmed like a movie. A professional film production company captured the entire play, edited it and the final product will be streamed online November 20, 21 and 22, right here on our website. You will need to purchase a ticket to access the video stream.
